Thanks for the correction as my quick scan of last year's charts missed Stellify. She finished 7th by 5. This made me start thinking about this more.

It would only be conjecture to guess at why the Cox barn is starting fewer BC horses and/or skipping BC altogether with others. I'll throw this idea out there. Maybe in order to meet the BC starting gate, the "program" Cox uses requires interruptions that are not conducive to their long term success or continuing to train continuously thereafter.

Infinite Sky did not return to the races until July. She's raced three times this year and finishes of 3rd, 8th and 6th. Stellify didn't return to the races until August this year and has raced twice with a 4th at Cnl and a win at Ky Downs.
