Like it or not pace has alot to do with the race ,could WE have gone 109 for six and still won ? I doubt it,the race was filled with late runners and a bunch of garbage inside of the winner, virtually guaranteeing a dream trip .The only way Johannesburg is ever going to get a mile and a quarter is in a horse van ,Pletcher's horse didn't look good ,the 3 was a stone closer so was the 4
