Since this TG forum seems to have done a Bexit or TGexit, hoping to start the 4th of July fireworks early this weekend. Had a chance to peruse the twilight card and have what I call an isolated Spot Play. (for me, this is a smaller sized spec play)

Belmont 9th 35k claimer with a 3 life condition. One mile on the turf

General observations:

Looks like a fig of 6 to 8 take this race.
The Usual Suspects: (possible winners) 24678
Expect the 9 to set early pace with the 2 or 11 possible sending as well

Of those usual suspects:

#2 --would need a 'Memorex' race 2nd off a short vacation from GP.
#6-- appears to be a one dimensional closer that needs a trip. With a 2 for 23 career record, think he is more suitable underneath.
#7 stretches out for Danny Gargan off a sprint win. Fear him the most
#8 - an older warrior with a 2 for 21 lifetime mark. Another 2nd off short layoff for Weaver. Small drop from 50k to 35k and very capable on best.

Expect the 9 to set early pace ...maybe the 2 or 11 as well.

Keyser Soze: #4 The Key 10-1 ML

Four year old from capable barn. Decent looking line. Fast enough on the #'s to win and think he might go forward. Well posted inside (3 is scratched) and may work a rail trip.

He is my key in a "spot" play at 5 to 1 or better. (likely some win $ and a few exacta boxes)

Good Luck
