Sean D. was the designated for seminar recap but fell ill sometime after the Travers Card.
For those who know Sean D., he is a charter member of Uncle Bill's backyard. A class act and serious student of the game, Sean is also the TG Club Champion.
According to Uncle Bill, Sean's daughter said he is doing fine. Having some tests done Monday in Albany.
For those who know Sean, you might want to reach out to him.
Hope to see him for closing weekend!!
Satuday,
Alan was first time Siro's and ran a new top. Must have been the coffee or the Siro's waitress that inspired him.
Alan always tries to find some playable longshots that may be overlooked.
From my perspective, I try to incorporate some of his ideas into my thinking.
With that said, he was positive on the 1st race winner as he was "fast".
In the 3rd, he gave a guarded opinion that Cerro would run. Also felt the winner (Chad Brown #8) might run a new top.
No major opinions in race 4 (thought the winner was ok) and liked #3 Manitoulin a bit in the 5th. (he ran 4th)
Forever Unbridled in the 6th was looked upon favorable.
Race 7) Did not like the winner as a bounce candidate and was more inclined to play Paulasilverlining.
Race 8, Defrong and Summer were the picks R rated as a longshot.
Best opinion was his negative reads on Mind your biscuits, Tom's Ready and Mohayman.
Race 9) Like the AV seminar, Alan thought Catalina Red and Ready for Rye stood upset chances. No value in AP Indian.
Race 10) the MM, Flintshire obvious
Race 11) Had negative opinion on Gift Box , Governor Malibu, Creator , Laoban and Gun Runner to a degree (has not improved). Very favorably inclined towards AF and Destin.
12)no real opinion
13) #9 explosive, #1 competitive, #11 Chad (fast)
