I apologize if my joke offended anybody. My joke was intended to bring some levity to a dire situation, nothing more.

If I missed the mark, I am sorry.

I may not quite be retarded, but my sense of humor can be offbeat, especially if one is unfamiliar with it.

Since you said you are not an American, is it possible you failed to get the joke?

HP -- The early part he is quoting me. I had wondered in a post if Irwin was retarded since Plever had to represent him. The 'American' thing is for another guy (Frank) who responded on the thread, which is still up.

I don't mean to provoke more craziness. It's an apology, which is a good thing.
