Saratoga to Have "Closed" Jockey Colony (757 Views)

Saratoga just announced that they will not allow jockeys to ride at the track if the jockey leaves to ride at another track or has ridden somewhere else after the start of the meet under a new protocol to reduce the risk of coronavirus. Saratoga closes September 7 and the Kentucky Derby is on September 5, so my guess is that a number of jockeys will miss the last couple of days and opt to keep their mounts in the Derby and just miss the last two days of the meet. Here is a link to the DRF article.
