Is Baffert cocktail not as effective as Servis brew?

Maximum Security struggled late but did outfinish the others when it seemed he might not.

The 4th quarter mile crawled in say :26[sup]2[/sup] for the pacesetters. The final 1/8 in :14.

Thoughts
I've never thought [b]Maximum Security[/b] offered any value, with the possible exception of his Kentucky Derby, and now I'm somewhat doubtful he'll even go in the BC. A six y/o campaign or Breeding? A rest and a another Pegasus if that's still an event.
