Sad to learn about the passing of James Bert Sonnier.

I have some fond memories of working for Mr. Sonnier back in the day. He's from Louisiana, but was a regular at Arlington Park in the 80's and 90's.

He's best known for training NODOUBLE and MEADOWLAKE, but he also trained other nice horses like LITTLE BONNY, LITTLE BRIANNE and BUCKPOINT to name a few.

RIP, J. B. You will be missed.
