Side point... Flores on "EOD" -- couldn't they have made a better selection?

Reminds me of an interview I read a long time ago in the Form with CHI jock R. Meier, who is also better on front-runners than closers... He said that his favorite kind of horse to ride is a big closer on the turf. lol
