Well, well, well. A seemingly 2 horse race at Delaware Park. The fav, a likely bounce candidate verses 3 other horses, 2 of whom couldn't get out of their own way in a route race on a good day, yet the two lonshots run one two, with the logical 2nd horse 3 wide in a speed duel looking over his shoulder at the top of the stretch, and the winner, supposedly cooked in that speed duel, drops out of it and comes again. How much would it take to cash the equivilent of the winners share if you ran second? Hmmmmmmmm. A $600 place bet on both longshots with a $200 exacta box?

$20,000 + $4,000 + $5,000 + $2,600. Ah, the math doesn't add up. Who would want to cheat just to cash a measily $31,000.
