Your list is right on EXCEPT for Easy Goer,
and I loved him! Big knock on him was he
couldn't win outside NY. Considering his
talent, and his connections, he under-achieved throughout his career. My pick
for the best not to win the Triple Crown?

DR. Fager...The BEST horse to race in the
last 50 years; his connections didn't believe
in racing in the classics!
