first of all, hats off to scott v. --- you are the man!
where the hell did all these dudes pop up from?!

I'm pretty much handicapping as I post, so hopefully this will all add up straight --- don't nitpick.

1ST

1 - SLEW - could be any kind, or could run like her stablemate did.
looks like a tough chalk w/mott + lasix.

5 - frankel - again, not much to read.
fast in here + frankel - tough.

10-DYNAMITE - I kind of like the line, and think she might pop a good one w/the lasix.
might use as pricey gimmick key, but she's probably a tick or so slow and trip won't be great.
I also hate keying a horse with 2 chalks.

3 - SUNSET - big ugly pop in last, but might get a piece even w/regression + nice price.
line is so ugly that I'll probably pass, though.

6 - GIMME - has a few competitive #'s, but weighted w/ugly line.
take my chances against.

2 - REBELANO - has a decent # at weight, and big price, but would like more time.
pass.

4 - POLISH - another marginally competitve one who'll probably save more ground than most.
I really wonder if he can wire these at 7f, and I'm a little leery playing off the top and 2 efforts.
take my chances against.

$20 tri 1,5/1,5/3,10 = 80
$10 ex 5/3,10 = 20
$20 win 10 = 20
$10 doubles 1,5,10/5 = 30
total = $150

I can see this is taking way too much time, so I guess I'll just mention a couple per race and fill in my bets afterwards.

2ND

again, a couple fast chalks from top barns
(Mott + Dutrow)
I'll probably find a way to use Official Flame (McLaughlin) @ 20-1 ml.
like the connections, and he could be a legit horse --- I think the price is great, and those chalks are fast, but no lock.
there's a few others in here running competitve #'s, and this is a bit of a crapshoot.
I'd like to give honorable mention to the Morales horse (private lap) as one that might pop at a price, although he might be a tick or 2 slow.
also, I'm a little leery of Vow (David's pick?) because of the weight and post --- I'll take my chances against him.

$10 tri 5,6,7/5,6,7/4,5,6,7 = 120
$20 win 5 = 20
$5 pick 3 -- 5,6,7/1,6/3,6 = 60
total = 200

3RD

@ 10-1 I like Kimmels's Unbridling in here a lot.
if kimmel gets a race off the break like he had last year, he should be tough.
Personable Pete is much the fastest, and I'd use even w/the expected bounce.
Prime Customer also looks like a use based on some quick #'s.
Tuff Fox might be a defensive use because I don't want to slit my throat playing against dutrow, and he's got a competitive figure, but I'm not crazy about the price on that line.
I also think Blitz is too short, and I'll take my chances against him.

$50 win 6
$20 ex 1/6
$10 tri 1/9,10/6
$10 pick 3 -- 1,6/3,6/6 = 20
if pete scratches, $ to win 6.
total = $110

4TH

based on the #'s, I'd say maybe Quiet and Transcendental in here, although I don't like the short price on clement (quiet).
seems like there's a bit of speed, and I'm thinking bailey rides the wave while cooking Imadeed, the other fast one.
maybe I'll use Ima defensively.
also, I might see if I can get Belle Artiste to come charging for third.

$20 ex box 3,6 = 40
$10 tri 3,6/3,6/10 = 20
$10 pick 3 -- 3,6/6/3,6 =40
total = 100

5TH

probably take my chances against Broadway at a short price.
Frankel looks tough, as always (except Breeders Cup), w/maybe a little gimmick flyer using Rhythm @ a price.
Jarf's fast on dirt -- is he staying on grass?

$10 pick 3 -- 6/3,6/1,2,8 = 60
$10 ex box 4,6 = 20
$10 ex 3/6
total = 90
if race comes off, all pick 3's to Jarf (3)
ex box $ , 3 to win

6TH

alright, finally a race I know I'll play.
Explicit looks backwards moving and is highweighted -- toss short price.
Smile my Lord will be my key --- hoping to pop a new top, and I get Capuano + Bailey at a big price.
I'll probably also use Entepreneur off the #'s and rail trip.
now, sprinkle in a little Tagg.

$60 win 6
$5 pick 3 -- 3,6/1,2,8/2,3,8 = 90
$20 ex 3/6 = 20
$5 tri box 3,6,8 = 30
total = 200

7TH

Coney Kitty - clement w/nice line at a price.
hoping to pair last ---my key w/frankel.
Babae - maybe a use, but not as sold as other sheet players I've seen comments from.
Frankel - looks tough again (Tates)
Penny Marie - maybe sprinkle in at big price.
Voodoo - w/weight + post, will take my chances against at v. short price.

$10 tri box 1,2,8 = 60
$10 ex box 1,8 = 20
total = 80

8TH

getting late -- better hurry.
Gygistar, Draw Play, and MAYBE(?) Warners look best off #'s --- take my chances on a bounce from True Direction.

$10 ex box 2,3 = 20

9TH

throw a blanket over them.
pass.

10TH

War Emblem's out of exacta -- maybe tri.
no strong opinion on the rest, but may lean towards using Perfect Drift, so popular w/sheet players, along w/Lukas (hoping for minimal bounce).
I thought I saw Patent post that Md'Oro is 34-1 in early wagering???
if he really goes off at 30-1, he's in there, too.

hmmmm....

$9 ex 6,9 = 18
$2 tri box (shutup, I ran out of $) 6,8,9 = 12

total = 30

11TH

Saint Verre + Absaroka look toughest, but are short.
lightly use in exotics would be Treasured Gift, City of Peace, Point of America.
forgot Dutrow -- if I bet this, he's in there.

12TH

thank christ.
bring home AMERICA'S GUY to cap off the day!!

my last $20 win 5!!
total = 20

mucho thanks again to scott.
