Based on the Belmont Day figs, to say Bobby Frankel's stable is hot would be a major understatement. Even though only 2 of his 5 runners won (often very misleading), all his runners ran big races/numbers. Age, sex, surface – it does not matter. His entire stable is jumping out of its skin in the late spring again this year. Here are the data. Draw your own conclusions and bet against his charges with extreme caution this weekend and during the rest of the summer.
Bel Baie (3yo Filly, dirt) jumped from 10.5 to 5.5
El Granpa (5yo, dirt) jumped from 2.75 to 1 despite a poor start and being trapped behind horses throughout the stretch run
Tates Creek (4yo filly, turf) jumped from 5 to 2
Beat Hollow (5yo, turf) ran 1.5 pts off top but it was an impressive front-running winner, which is very rare for a graded stakes on turf.
Medaglia D'Oro (3yo, dirt) jumped from 2.5 to 1
