Well, there were a few first time starters in the race. I think the other two who had a bit of turf breeding opening up at 35-1, and the six year old Double Negative gelding opened at 8-1. I don't see how a horse racing fan could have had the horse, but a good gambler should have taken notice and expanded their pk3 tickets by $10 or $20. I guess you learn something new every day.
