yeah, nobody's using a crystal ball --- you can get bad picks from anybody.
in fact, some of the biggest mouths in handicapping often produce the worst results.

you didn't get the finishers right, but I think you made a good choice stepping out against a short horse.
the tricky part is figuring out which shorties should be played against, and which deserve respect.

sometimes you'll cash on that, and sometimes you get burned --- you just want things to go your way in the long run.
there've been plenty of public picks that've burned me in the past, but all it takes is one war emblem to make up for it.
