HP,

You know what is pretty funny , I usually
find myself going to the Rag Board when
this one gets to be too much of pissing contest. I much rather contribute here because at least when the dialogue is constructive, its educational.

Regarding SAR, its a tough meet due to
all the shippers. Some barns point to the
meet exclusively & others are just there as part of the regular circuit. One thing I
have noticed for sure about SAR; pay special
attention to fresh horses that have some quality. Another point worth noting is that
you can almost always find horse that
absolutely love that surface/water.
Remeber FourStarDave ? Thats an obvious example but there are many many more.
On a more generalized note, I have noticed that while the track is drying out up there
(not when its sloppy) speed horses have a less than fair shot, especially in the 1 1/8
races. Just keep this stuff in mind when that meet rolls around.
If this doesn't help, I'll share my thoughts on the fine art of nose-picking....;)
