The Bluegrass looks to be another interesting Keeneland handicapping challenge. But, does it really have any Kentucky Derby relevance other than to add a couple of horses to finish alongside Midnight Hawk. (who could be a rabbit for Hoppertunity?)
Medal Count was 12/1 on the morning line for the Transylvania. Maybe the odds maker was not privy to some info that those who backed this co-favorite were. Sure, getting through on the inside of the second turn made him look dominant and a failure to do so would have had the opposite effect.
Does the public deserve to know when a horse is training like a champion? Of course not, it would be too difficult to implement and also eliminate an insider advantage which is a part of the games fabric.
Parlay the winnings? That looks like a brave move to this outsider. However I gotta love fanaticism (as in sports fans..CC, UConn, Alonso, Rousey, whoever).
Those who get the points - Belong it is a simple system. But the weights are truly dumb.
