If you liked this colt, given his retreat in the Gotham, wouldn't you rather see
longer, slower works? Agreed that 15/1 is good value in this field based on his pair
of "deuces".

Also working well is Wesley Ward's Pablo Del Monte, who won twice at Kee as a 2YO.
Not much two turn experience, but PDM is by Giant's Causeway.

Ward has runners in each of the five graded stakes at Kee on Saturday. Fairmount and
his pals still probably grumbling about Ward's win in the 2012 Lexington Stakes with
All Squared Away at 70/1.

Maybe not the strongest Derby prep field, but an outstanding betting race, no?
