Shanni, Nuttin better than combining work and horseplaying! My heaven was when I was sent by the US Army on a 2 week trip to inspect various food plants in England, Scotland and Wales. I got my William Hill racing calendar to find out where the races were each day and matched them up with where my inspections were. Did my work from 6am to noon and then hit the races. In Scotland, where there is no live racing, I went to the bookie shops, which had only radio(this is 30 years ago). I never knew where my horse was cuz I couldnøt understand the accent!. Well, all I did was bet on Cauthen and actually made a few bucks to pay for steak and kidney pie!
