won't wind up being an issue though for us as we made the decision yesterday to stay in New York and run in the Bold Ruler on Oct 25th and if that goes well, try the Cigar Mile

Horse breezed great yesterday (same exact breeze as before he ran the second 3 negative at Saratoga) but I left it up to Terranova and he really wanted to try and take down the stake in NY

I wasn't sure about the two turns and I ordered up the TGs for all of the possible runners and there were a few in there that were fast enough to make it a close enough call in my mind that staying in NY was the smarter play

Valid and Goldencents in particular really stood out to me on the TGs when I ordered them from JB. I liked Valid's prep race alot last weekend. He's a big, beautiful horse who has thrown some monster figures and who overcame a bad trip and bad race shape to win with plenty left against some ok hard knockers last weekend.

like for any of them, duplicating the big figures in a different state with different rules and after a tough ship is always a question but between Goldencents and Valid, that wasn't a guessing game that I wanted to play given the supplement issue and the question on two turns.
