No Aqueduct and Gulfstream is still in their Calder phase of the meet, meaning they are running dates that Calder used to. I'd rather wait until their tradional January starting time. Anyway, a bit of a tangent there.

Race 6

The bookends of this sequence looks like a shoe buster to me. Guillot's runner has a fancy pedigree and some nice works. Baffert's firster is the same thing. I don't have high regards for the two with experience. Looking over the firsters again, it's probably not wise to leave out Hollendorfer's filly, 30% first time out is intimidating. (Using 3,5,8)

Race 7

The quarterhorse/cheap speed throws in a monkey wrench early pace here. Popalicious and Pearl de Vere could benefit the most from this. Sweet Marini has solid numbers for this race. (Using 1,5,8)

Race 8

Dortmund ran lights out last time out, tomorrow is his first time at two turns and another new surface. Kind of leery of singling him here. Mr. Z has run well enough recently to win this if the heavy chalk decides to try out his reverse gear here. (Using 3,4)

Race 9

Nevada Time is light on loses and sheds blinkers. American Style is light on loses and adds blinkers. Play Maker has back numbers that win this. (Using 4,8,10)
