OK, so I ain't so sure about this one. The horse I'm against is only co-third choice at 9/2, Single Handed. You guessed it: a vet scratch 12 Dec. Problem is, in my experience, magicians like Scott Lake are more likely to bring these vet scratches in. On the plus side, he's slow and is relatively low on the ML because of pretty significant trouble in his last, his first start on dirt.
The horse I'm interested in is stretching-out second time router Rare Match from the rail at 8/1 ML. His sire Fairbanks has equal TGIs for both Sprint and Route, so I'm hoping he get's an easy lead and takes 'em gate to wire.
I am going to save with an exacta over the favored entry, of which Sabbath Way is the stronger half.
