No having seen the head-on, I have no opinion on whether Materiality should have been DQ'd, but I have always wondered why stewards' inquiries take so long. Watching the video from the relevant angles a couple of times should suffice unless there is a difference of opinion among the stewards. I cannot believe that talking to the jockeys sheds much light on the matter.
