Given the train wreck the NYRA has become its nice to see a cal bred heat get the call for ROTW. A well weighted, salty bunch with a half dozen steeds who can win.

Most of Awesome Return's races are better than these have ever run and after Mikey worked him two weeks ago he chose this one over Marty's homer who is certainly a player. I figured him a single.

Then Jerkens tossed 123 on the 4yo, then he drew outside, never good out of a chute even with the soft rail, then the race came up very soft on pace.

Nevertheless Puype's charge has consistently ran as fast late in his races as his competition has run early in theirs; a huge advantage.

Certainly respect detractors who notice he has never beaten older; yet seems the most likely winner in here. bbb
