He's still a bit young - May 2nd foal or some such. I'd say it was very fast late. 29.53 last 5/16ths. Also like that he was in an awkward spot through the first turn and didn't seem to care.

Most impressive runner there might have been Cathryn Sophia. 2 tenths slowing than Awesome Banner, but only because of a really bad break, and running behind horses. Closed a ton faster. She's also a very slight horse, but looks quite the athlete - like Mohaymen. Songbird won't have things all her own way.

As far as figs, these GP 3 year old heavy cards must be very difficult to do. The TGs are better, but the Beyers for the Hutcheson day were slow.
