I dont think Candy Ride's Beyer was faster than Midway Road's 123.

I believe a few years back both Will's Way and Formal Gold Beyer'd out to about 125/126

Easy Goer and Sunday Silence ran in that range as well is my recollection.

I think his highest figure was Secretariats Belmont a 140 something.

By the way, Beyer messed the Derby Beyers up...Jerry got it right.

One last comment on Smarty....you knew he was gonna get better once he got to even weights. He was spotting so much weight in those Arkansas races...2 lengths worth.
