1)i was curious if you or anybody else knew if a horse named colonel moran, who won the gotham in 1980, ever produced any stakes winners?

2)also, what type of number did uss tinosa get in the santa anita derby? if i recall he went back for the first time, but he might be competitive next week.

3)i know much was made about different wood figures, but i was in mid-town last sat. and a guy had rag #'s and showed me blue burner's 2#. do you think that was a function of simply not splitting the variant or a different interpretion of the wind's affects as well--it was bad that day as i recall?

4)finally, although its not a handicapping-related question, i feel that its an important issue in light of HP's unfortunate recent departure...i was wondering how you or others (even point given gal-michelle)introduce significant others to tolerating or even co-pursuing your handicapping interests?
