The home-team edge enjoyed by those based out there has long been considerable. Can't see any Easterner going out there and dominating . . . and if all you're looking to do is "tee" your horse up for a prime effort in Louisville, you can do that East of the Mississippi with less stress, and without eating up your time, help, and nerves.
