After another atrocious performance yesterday, the www.firemikebattaglia.com website server went on total overload. I am making the first donation towards raising enough money to buy the remainder of Battaglia’s contract and having him removed from any further horse racing broadcasts immediately. I can’t take it anymore!

We now know what Alfred E. Nuemann does as a moonlight job, either that, or Battaglia passes as a solid twin/older brother. Battaglia who is on the telecast primarily as a handicapper offered this solid analysis when asked right before the start of yesterdays Norfolk Stakes: “Awe heck I don’t know, when in doubt I say you just go for Baffert and you get two for the price of one”. Thanks Mike, a 2-1 chalk entry you really did your homework on this one. Just like when you told us Officer was the next Secretariat.

After the race when the stronger half of the Baffert entry was eased and vanned off Battaglia offered this: “I spoke with the Vet and he said the horse is fine”. Battaglia has set the bar so low that Hank the Angry Dwarf and Yukko the Clown would be an upgrade.

Jay Privman need to take his place starting today. Privman is a SUPERIOR broadcaster, who is articulate, intelligent and a very good handicapper. He would form a solid pairing with ‘good guy’ Bob Nuemeier. Privman also has been kind to TG in the past and would balance out his pairing with Nuemeier who is a known ‘dirty rotten Raggie”. The upcoming Breeders Cup would be a great place for them start.

My fingers are crossed.
