Randy Moss reminds me of the pushy software salesmen on the Computer Associates commercials who keep barking:

"So How Much Software Do You Want To Buy?"

Things get to the point where the Purchasing Manager is trying to escape so badly he attempts to throw a chair thru his 4th floor office window and jump out, just to get away from these guys.

Moss is like this when he uses his four favorite words on earth: "Trained by Bob Baffert".

You think I'm exaggerating here are two CLASSIC examples. In the recent Best Pal Stakes telecast Moss said Trained by Bob Baffert six times and yet Baffert didn't run a single horse on the live racing card.

He told us there were no horses in todays race "Trained by Bob Baffert". When they introduced us to the Bud Longshot they showed him breaking his maiden and told us the horse running second was "Trained by Bob Baffert". Funny thing was they never told us who trained the winner and he was their Bud Longshot. OOPS!!

Last year on Wire to Wire after the Pre-Breeders Cup Super Saturday Moss mentioned "Trained by Bob Baffert" over a dozen times he failed to mentioned a SINGLE OTHER trainers name. He told us Santa Catarina second in the Frizzete was "Trained by Bob Baffert" but no mention of who Storm Flag Flying was trained by-the winner. He told us Atlantic Ocean fourth in the Alchibides was "Trained by Bob Baffert" but again no mention of who trained the winner.

Moss has sold his sole so badly just to have access to Baffert (it has to be the only reason) that his credibility his going lower and lower each time he basically SCREWS the rest of the horsemen.

As far as my endorsement of Privman let me say this, he rivals Moss with his patronizing of Baffert. He has also stuck enough knives in the back of D. Wayne Lukas, a friend of mine, over the years that I'm no fan of Privman. However, I mean what I said and he is a SUPERIOR broadcaster who would a lot more to the NBC and CNBC telcast team than we are getting from Battaglia. But that's not saying-even Gus the Monkey could add more than what we are getting now.
