Certainly a good example of why including ground loss in performance ratings make sense.

An assist to jockey Martinez. His ride today did not waste 4+ points in ground loss as he's consistently done previously.

Honorable mention to trainer Holly Evans whose recent two bullet works seemed to have been designed to teach Carolina Avenue how to get started earlier. Today's gate to wire ground saving trip made all the difference in the horse hanging on to win.

Trainer Evans has also been a profitable angle of late.

I'm hooked, I'll be looking at the red board tomorrow.
