well I would point out it was straight maidens, and the top two may have freaked a little as the were 9 clear of third. I looked at the first and older 40k claimers went 111 1/5, and they went a mile a couple hours later in 138. The ground loss was the unreal part, I dont think I have seen that much ground loss at del mar in a stake and the horse win. If ground loss is figured in it would inflate the figure considerably, right?
