Tavasco, I can't help but think that your inference is that the "little TV gal" was remiss in not asking a more pointed question about the horse's "surprising" performance. Well, I'm afraid the "nievete" arrow is pointing at you if you think any broadcaster, male or female, big or little, is going to ask the kind of question that you think was begging to be asked.
Frankly, I find it puzzling that, on this board, you would be looking for a red flag with a horse whose negative numbers were at least as notable as the quality of its wins. A quick trip to the Redboard Room indicates it was one of three horses to be boxed in the race, and then used under the chalk. At 5-1 on the M/L and 6-1 leaving the gate, there were quite a few people whose jaw didn't drop when the horse crossed the finish line first.
Now, I didn't see the interview, but if P-Dub's identification of the interviewer is correct, and it was Britney Eurton, then you compounded the felony. I spent a few hours at a dinner table with her and a few not very "nieve" big guys at Del Mar, well known to a few on here, and she was holding her own with all of us, including an impromptu group handicapping session of the following day's card. Britney definitely has game, but even if it wasn't her, it doesn't matter. It was simply an interviewer. Any description beyond that is usually just a "tell."
