Thursday's race goers @ Belmont Park were treated to [b]Lutsky[/b]'s debut in the the 4th race. A MSW for 2 y/o's @ 5.5F.
Prior to the race many were probably mulling over the idea that the streak of Jason Servis has to end sometime doesn't it?
But logically it doesn't have to end like those streaks where a trainer points at a particular meet and the meet ends. The 8/5 price at post time, down from the 7/2 (ha ha) morning line, seemed an overlay. Yet one has doubts.
When the gate opened [b]Lutsky[/b] came out like a drag bike. Great his backers thought. He quickly opened up ... say 4 lengths. Oh no, a voice in the back of my head murmurs, I've seen this act before - here comes the anchor. But not so today, [b]Lutsky[/b] (Yes Its True) looked about as good to me as a first time starter can. 1:03 and change.
