Disclosure -- I frequently make posts like these and cannot remember the last time I was right.
After reviewing the Sheets on this race, I have a 6-1 ML as the most likely winner. This improving 4yo has already run a top better than the ML fav ever has. He is turning back from a route to a sprint which has worked for him and looks like his preferred distance, also dropping down in class from three straight G2s to a G3 (albeit, he is running into the Reigning BC Turf Sprint Champion and he has to give him weight due to recent G2 victory). Developing 4yo looks like everything is coming together nicely for a top effort. Does have to carry a bit more weight and need to hope Talamo can navigate a good trip. The top two contenders don't look like they have any license to run anything better than a par race for themselves (or worse) today (which is not so scary). Pace set up looks like it favors my pick. My pick out of a hay and oats barn, but looks like he should run the new top unaided by anything except nature -- Big Pharma in this race look like they have already tried and done whatever they could big jump up elsewhere, jump up today would shock.
