Rather than having you characterize my position, later today we will repost an op-Ed I wrote on this subject a few years ago, and possibly a section of a recent article by Sid Fernando which is spot on.
I don’t know enough to have an opinion on effects of changing the dosage. But what’s the rationale? The idea is to keep horsing from bleeding, and oh yeah— protect the public.
