Caught up with this one a little late.

The question I have is if people are starting their Two Year Olds later then why are the Breeders breeding to so much speed pedigree?? Seems it would be the other way around. Some of the logic was that breed to speed so you can "get out" faster. But then people start their horses later.
Also it still seems that most of the top trainers Baffert, Lukas, and Pletcher haven't really changed their programs all that much. How many two year olds have Pletcher and Baffert started in the last 60 days. Seems like 100.
I agree with what you and Finley said that in the old days nearly everyone started all their two year olds beginning in May and June.
Also it is interesting how nowadays when people need an expert opinion more and more often they are turning to the SHEETS guru's.
15 to 20 years ago you guys were considered kooks now your The Truth.
Now that is a Real Paradox if I ever saw one.
