Yeah, they clearly based it off of the allowance race with some more experienced horses - the winner had a big last out number.

That race as a bit oddly run for a dirt race. The leader into the final 1/16th ran pretty evenly, slowing down progressively before finishing 3rd. The top two though slowed down with the leader, instead of running right by earlier on. The winner's last three 1/16ths were faster than the previous three.

Honor A.P. finished well, but the horse that suprised me most was Kiss Today Goodbye, who finished even better.
