My strong suspicion is that I am not the only one who would be interested in what you learn re prices & available bets.

One peculiar LS item I forgot to mention yesterday is that the gentleman who will be providing the service, which will be called "By the Rail", told me that he learned during the most recent meet that LS prohibits the wearing of all caulks, which I recall thinking might affect Zito more than most, as virtually all of his runners wear them in all dirt races, including Birdstone, if I remember correctly. I'm pretty sure the BC actually takes over the track & sets the rules for the big day, so it's entirely possible that caulks will be allowed, unless the prohibition was instituted for safety reasons related to the configuration and/or composition of the track.
