Beyers figures , in my view , function more like ( a "type" of ) performance ratings - they'll get you to ballpark but won't get one to their seat ( in a manner of speaking ) due to their unrefined nature .
If not taken w/ a big grain of salt , individuals who use the Beyers figures may get inaccurate impressions w/ regard a horse's overall + current ability ( + form cycle ) and may thus easily make wrong assumptions and form incorrect opinions about a given horse or race .
