Top trainer Steve Asmussen in a sound bite today at Santa Anita where a gaggle of his old contenders for BC races are now stabled said he won't be entering any 2 y/o's in this years b/c races.
He went on to explain that two year olds traveling west for the event historically end up having poor form as three year olds. Regardless of how they run in the BC.
He is also up in the air about Echo Zulu Sprint or Filly/Mare Sprint. Gunite sprint or Mile. He didn't think the Parx race was representative of anything because of the weather & track condition. He'll decide based on how the work and train in SoCal.
