Don't envy the figure makers for this one. Track Phantom won with Rosario looking over his shoulder in the stretch. Seemed impressive until you see the maiden winner, Hall of Fame, that went a half second quicker. But he won by 10+ lengths, a Magnier horse (Gun Runner, out of a Giant's Causeway) that sold for $1.4 million. Chart says "put to wraps with 70 yards to go".

So, maybe HOF is a freak. But Saudi Crown went a second quicker still. Okay, but he beat Red Route One by almost 6 lengths, and RRO was 4 lbs lighter than HOF. The fillies in the Siverbulletday went MUCH slower.

Thinking Saudi gets a neg number, and HOF gets a stupid good number, wrapped up, for a maiden
