My "chewing up" of Ragozin's figures going into the BC was strictly on the basis of their being wrong on the face of it. There were plenty of other examples where we did things differently, but that was not the point-- I chose ones where anyone looking at the figures and applying common sense could see that they were wrong, without having extensive experience or understanding of figure making. And I made it clear that the examples had nothing to do with my opinions of how the horses would run on BC day-- as anyone who read my comments about the horses could also see. For example, I said Society Solection and Nothing To Lose ran faster than Ragozin gave them in one race each, but I liked neither in the BC.

Anyone wondering what we're talking about, use the search engine for the post titled "Common Sense".

As for Sweet Catomine-- no matter what you did with that last race, she was a bet-against at a short price off a big top with her running style from the outside. You want to fault that analysis, fine, but it has nothing to do with the examples I cited.
