a bunch of distance challenged horses running in the 2 yr old stakes race (8th).
i might take a shot with a longshot, northern mischief (12-1 ml). seems to be moving in the right direction. mcanally has had a month to prepeare NM for this, has a few nice works..... hoping for a "2" point jump to the "8" lvl, which could make her competitive at the weights (gets 6). i think the baffert horse will be tough as well. not sure the extra distance is what she wants, but if she can repeat her last, she will be tough at the weights. island escape needs a big jump to be competitive, might might come running late for a share...
(did i just see shockey catch two passes in a row without a drop, one for a touchdown?)
