brilliant ride there by carrero on the #2. ran an "8" going 7f last out, and i though he might have a tough time repeating that fig after watching the first few races, especially when he is a closer cutting back to 6f. carrero did his best to keep the horse involved the entire way, even started riding him hard before the quarter pole, and he beats the two horse who figured to run well in the slop in the final strides. i think carrero comes from the same riding school as cordero and JR down in P.R. he is a jock to keep an eye on in the future.
