I just had a peak at TGraphs Red Board Room on the above race. TGraph had factored the horse I selected "Leaving on My Mind" as the horse with the fastest two turn figures coming into the race. They also had a significant X race for him last which I was not fully aware of. I attributed that "poorer" race to a first effort over a new and off track. In hindsight it looks like a little more than an off track was at issue.

My suspicion is that the Florida Stallion Stakes Colts that finished 2-3 are going to move up a bit next time.
