making $ betting (601 Views)

Just wanted to thank everyone for the candor in their answers to my questions last week.
I don't relish the idea in betting into pools that don't spt the tracks. And I certainly understand you can find value even when the takeout is 28%. I guess it gets down to principle for me in a lot of ways. Bottom line, take out is too high. I'm certainly willing to pay a fair price for the tracks putting on the show. But, except for a few instances, most tracks don't appear to care, especially if I'm a recreational player. 7% with a bookie is starting to look pretty good to me.
