You know, come to think of it, one of the first big/fast guys was Hershel Walker for Georgia in 1980 and he claimed that he got so big by eating hamburgers and doing 1000 push-ups/day. Well I try the 1000/push-up/day after I read the article and I actually stopped growing!!!!(of course if you're counting by 10's....)
