Notice how the vets are not mentioned again...do you think that this was all done by trainers???? Info on drugs comes from the vets, and passed on to trainers and owners! Most trainers are NOT EDUCATED people and do not understand the science and physiology behind the drugs in this sport!

The vets and vet assistants have this knowledge, have the means of getting the drugs legally through purchase from legit pharmaceutical stores...trainers ARE NOT ALLOWED to purchase these drugs, nor do they store them in their barns.

Go to the NYRA backstretch and watch the concerened faces on trainers and grooms when an unidentified vehicle and person pulls up to a barn area when the vet is there doing his thing...does the word panic and frightened work here?

I've been there and seen it first hand!
