Jay, you're "morphing" the subjective with the objective. Let's start with the basics:
1. Is Michael Gill being unjustly discriminated against by the New York Racing Association where he can't receive stall space?
2. Is Michael Gill being unjustly discriminated against at Santa Anita where he was told he is "not welcome" there?
3. Is Michael Gill being unjustly discriminated against by Delaware Park which will not allow him to enter horses in races there?
Now, after you have finished a thorough and fair analysis of those questions ask yourself if those factors aggregate to perhaps influence shallow divers to look for shallow water?
Why don't you address the propriety of the industry conduct regarding Michael Gill in those matters, before you defend industry conduct in a matter where the essence is Perception?
